A golden retriever named Brandy, male, mature, joined us on our walk in Sundance yesterday. He had tags, but the phone on the tag is out of service. Animal control picked him up and he is at Caja Del Rio Animal Shelter, 100 Caja del Rio Rd, 505-992-1626

December 27 at approx 11:00 p.m. a LARGE WHITE VAN with New Mexico plates came onto our property (237 Tano road) It drove straight up to our house garage. I flipped on lights and the van quickly turned around and exited. I have notified the santa fe police department.

I spoke with Edik today. While he seemed very nice and quite reliable, he is in Albuquerque and was not willing to come to Santa Fe for our modest project.

Regarding the Qwest/CenturyLink vs. CyberMesa discussion on internet speeds: It is completely dependent on WHERE you live.

Those of us at the Tano West end of the neighborhood are NOT able to get higher than 1.5 Mbps from Qwest/CenturyLink.

CyberMesa is your only choice if you want to get faster than 1.5 Mbps for the Tano West, Sundance, etc area. Right now, 3 Mbps is available to us. Those who wish to get 7 Mbps and live in the CyberMesa service area need to email me so I can add you to a list of people who want it.

If I can get a list of 20 households together to commit, CyberMesa will upgrade their equipment. Right now I only have about 6 names… so it’s not looking good unless I hear from more people.
