Board of County Commissioners seeking individuals interested in participating in Input Process for Sustainable Land Development Code

The Board of County Commissioners is seeking individuals interested in participating on focus groups as part of the Santa Fe County Public Input Process for the Sustainable Land Development Code (SLDC).  The focus group will be discussing specific Concept Decision Points in relation to the SLDC.  The Commissioners will appoint two members from each district for the focus groups and Santa Fe County staff will appoint two members for a total of 12 focus group members per CDP.  The CDPs are as follows:

·       Home based business
·       Green building standards
·       Open space and trails
·       Agriculture

We are envisioning having one or two meetings per topic. The meetings will be public and we anticipate the first meetings will take place in mid July.  For each focus group we would like a cross section of the population and would like individuals with the following skills or experience:

Home Based Business

People who tried to open home based businesses but were impeded by regulations

Green Building Standards
